VdlP Day 20

Fuenterobble de Salvetierra to San Pedro de Rozados

What a cold night!  We had 3 blankets, but the temps were in the 20’s and it rained all night!  The Monsterio didn’t have hot water, so we couldn’t take a shower…we just slept in the clothes we were wearing and the next day we were ready to walk 🤣🤣  It was the day before Easter, so the whole town stayed up and partied very loudly.  We didn’t get much sleep, but still had to get up early 🤷🏻‍♀️  It was a very interesting place and we met a lot of nice people.  A lot of friends are going home tomorrow bc their plan was only to walk a part then come back next year and walk another…bc they can’t get that much time off 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣  New people will begin as well…not many doing all of the VdlP like us 😬  Today was cold and windy, but it didn’t rain and the sun came out for awhile! 😮  The rain is supposed to stop soon and the temps will reach the 60’s!  We can’t wait 😃  There were places with high water and mud, but most of our walk was lovely.  Walked through two mountain ranges, so we are very tired 😴

  1. Do your muscles get sore after these long days or are you so conditioned that that’s not an issue at this point?

  2. Muscles are sore, but they seems to do better if we stop and rest every 5 miles Norma
